Brief Background
Lais has a BA in Teaching, but was always very interested in holistic therapies, so she did a Holistic Massage course in 1998, and started practicing within friends, family and occasional volunteer work.
What really set her to a career change was a back injury... You would think that this is the sort of thing that puts someone off working in such physical area, right?
But for her was enlightenment! Her Physio encouraged the practice of yoga, swim and worked her back with massage therapy instead of the usual “pain killer and rest” prescription.
Her first day at the yoga studio was terrible, any posture was quite impossible apart from shavasana “corpse pose”.
But she tried again, and again, and again... in a week she could feel a considerable improvement on her movements, after two months of swim and yoga everyday, massage therapy every week all her movements where better than before the injury and free from pain.
She was so excited about the results that decided to extend her experience to people in the same situation.
Her full commitment, attention to detail and focus on well being is the key for the happiness of every client.
Lais qualified in Deep Tissue, Indian Head, Lymphatic Drainage , Swedish Massage, Medical Massage, Cupping Massage, Tai Yoga Massage, Pregnancy Massage and on going a Reflexology diploma. She went to India and completed a Yoga Teacher Training in 2008, and have been teaching since then.
She works in partnership with gyms, personal trainers, physiotherapy clinics, hotels and therapy companies providing massages and yoga sessions.
