"she was very helpful on the day and my updo stayed in place all day and night. i was worried that as my hair is so thick it might start to drop throughout the day but it was perfect, i'm very impressed.
i also had a lot of compliments about my make-up and lauren's suggestion to add a few fake eyelashes went down well.
she did a superb job and i have no complaints - please tell her i was very pleased.
i'd be happy to have lauren again but wouldn't mind a different stylist if she wasn't available."

"Lauren did hair and make up for me (as bride) and my bridesmaid. She was friendly and professional throughout the trial and on the day.
The thing I really valued about her approach was that she took on board the feedback I gave during the trial for the day itself. Also, nothing was too much trouble in terms of altering minor details.
As an example, I found the amount of mascara used in the trial was too much for me so on the day she built it up in really light layers so I could see it after every application until it was just the right amount for me!
She also offered plenty of ideas for hair and make up for me and the bridesmaid - which was much appreciated!

"When Lauren arrived on the morning of my wedding she brought such warmth and calmness that the whole getting ready process was an absolute joy. Lauren worked on all my loved ones first so efficiently that they all felt beautiful and I never once checked the time or felt nervous. Even when it was my time as the Bride and chaos was all around she made me feel utterly calm. She never once minded other people interrupting while she was working. The end result took my breath away, I still look at my wedding photographs and can't quite believe they are me. Lauren is a true talent but more importantly simply lovely to have around on a special occasion."

"My whole experience with Return to Glory was fantastic. VERY late in the day (ie a week before my wedding and a couple of days before Christmas) I decided that I did want my hair and make-up done after all. I registered with Return to Glory and withing 10 minutes I received a call to say they could help, within 20 minutes I had a make-up artist and an hour later I got a call from Lauren - truly great service.
On the day I had booked for my hair and make-up and my mom's make-up. But when the day arrived, my mom was unhappy with her hair and Lauren just worked her magic, made my mom feel great - and calm! My mom doesn't wear make-up usually and Lauren was brilliant at making her feel at ease and look natural, yet 'done up'.
Being so last minute, I had no ideas about what I wanted, and she just helped me create a look that suited me and my wedding - two hours before the ceremony! I wouldn't recommend doing it this way for everyone, but if it happens that way, Return to Glory can make sure it's a success!
I was SO pleased I had decided to get my hair and make-up done. I wasn't convinced before that I could be made to look *that* different, but Lauren made me feel like a film star. The make-up stayed on all day and looked great. I would recommend Return to Glory and Lauren to any one.

"I was booking Lauren to do my hair and make-up before a big event so when I asked my mum and sister if they fancied having their make-up done too (they'd already booked hair appts) they were a bit dubious but thought it would be fun and if they weren't pleased with the outcome they could take it off!
