Brief Background
Martin has a vast and varied experience in hairdressing. Following a traditional apprenticeship Martin moved to do hair in London’s West-end where he worked for salons including John Frieda. Martin then moved into session hairdressing and make-up and travelled extensively to many of the worlds fashion capitals.
Upon his return to the UK Martin opened his first hairdressing salon that was quickly recognised as one of ‘The Top 100 Salons in the UK’ by New Woman magazine, and he was a member of the L’Oreal Portfolio of Artistic Hairdressers.
Martin has always loved the tangible process of hairdressing and creating beautiful hair which perfectly compliments his clients and their lifestyles. He gets a great feeling of fulfilment from seeing his clients with amazing hair and hair colour which gives them the confidence that can only come from feeling totally happy with their image.
Martin has a huge range of experience in hairdressing. He excels in creating hairstyles that totally complement his clients face-shape, body-shape, and lifestyle.
By using the beauty and versatility that hair colour can give to every client Martin loves to complement his hair cutting and styling skills to ensure every client has a totally personal look that they are delighted with.
Martin has worked for such salons as John Frieda, Stephen Way, The Urban Retreat at Harrods and Hair Associates.
He has also worked for leading hair and make-up agencies in cities around the world, and is the premier winner of a British Hairdressing Business Award. Martin has also been asked to give education on behalf of Wella, L'Oreal and 365 Day Hairdressing.
